Today is tomorrow's history

This months question is about the Golden families.

While researching the properties of Lower Street we found the location of the shop run by Benjamin Golden in 1828, and then his son James Joseph Golden until 1913. It was the Orchards in Pit Street. Do you know anything more about the shop or the Golden family? We believe this is a different family to Sarah Golden who ran the Pig and Whistle from Novembers question. Can you help?
