A previously formidable village football club that once played at Carrow Road, was revived in 2012 after more than 15 years absence.
Southrepps had a football club as early as 1908 and its team once were runners-up in the East Anglia League Second Division. Ted Bird a former villager who passed away in 2016 joined the football team in 1948. He played for the team for 27 seasons and was captain when they took on Norwich Liberal during the final of the Norfolk Primary Cup at Norwich City ground Carrow Road in 1958. The club eventually moved to Northrepps in search of better facilities in the 1990s and disbanded shortly after that.

After a break of 15 years Southrepps Football Club was then relaunched in 2012 by villagers in a bid to recapture community spirit. The team played in the North East Norfolk League for several successful seasons before looking for a bigger challenge. They joined the Central and South Norfolk League in 2019 where they played teams across most of Norfolk. They achieved promotions in successive seasons to finally achieve the 2nd division. They also reached the League Cup final in the 2022/23 season.
