In the Archive we have some postcards dating from about the 1920s, we are trying to recreate these images one hundred years later. Have a look to see how well we have done, you might be surprised by how little some have changed and others not at all. This is only Lower Street, Upper street to follow.

    Thank you for the lovely postcards, it brings back so many memories of going to village school in the 50s and later in the 60s to catch the train to Norwich and later North Walsham to work although I’d have gone along Long Road? to catch the train. My dad was the village policeman from the early 50s until about 1962ish. and all this brings back so many memories.
