There are many older residents who know the name Lou Pestell. She was a ‘lady of the road’ as my Mum would say. In an article in a book Norfolk Remember by Robert Bagshaw, he tells he story. I have transcribed it here.

The History Hub is the name given to the physical archive of the Southrepps Society and the name of the Society’s web site. The web site, set up in 2024 uses data abstracted from the archive and links to other sources of historic information originating in Southrepps.
